Tea 4 U

This was the outcome of our first year lip-sync project in which we had to learn how to sync audio with animations. I voiced and animated my character (the one with the monocle) as well as put together the audio whereas my partner animated her character and created a suitable backdrop.

Vermillion Sands project

This was our final first year project which entailed creating a short film based off of 'The Vermilion Sands'- part of a novel. In groups, we were made to assign roles and put together something that shone with inspiration gathered from the story. We chose to mix stop-motion and 2D animation. I was in charge solely of the 2D aspect.

Horniman Project

Our first Second year brief in which was requested by a client. Another first for us. Considering the Horniman museum is to be showcasing a new exhibit based on the Permian Era, we were made to create a film to promote the opening. My partner and I chose to mix 2D character animation with 3D rendered and textured backgrounds. I handled the character design and animation.

Exploratory Practice Project

Our last Second year brief where we were made to choose out of three briefs. I followed an open brief, going forward with the theme of 'fate'. Not in the conventional sense but more in the sense that I left this idea all up to chance. Random texts, random imagery that spoke to me then coming together to make this story. This was an individual project where I took advantage of being able to work on my own and explore techniques that I've always wanted to.

Final Major Project

Our final project where we were able to construct our own short film from scratch.

Synopsis: Young Orion has a bad habit of laughing at the unacceptable, but is that all there is to it? Unable to fit into society, could there be a reason behind his inability to hold in the giggles even in the worst situations? Through a series of accidents in a surreal world of pop colours, we take a look at things through Orion’s perspective and the consequences that come with it.
